R. 4997 To extend and modify the temporary suspension of duty on 2- Cyanopyridine. _______________________________________________________________________ IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES April 27, 2012 Mr. Burton of Indiana (for himself and Mr. Young of Indiana) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Ways and Means _______________________________________________________________________ A BILL To extend and modify the temporary suspension of duty on 2- Cyanopyridine. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. 2-CYANOPYRIDINE. (a) In General.--Heading 9902.22.35 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (relating to 2-Cyanopyridine) is amended-- (1) by striking ``3.2%'' and inserting ``3.4%''; and (2) by striking the date in the effective period column and inserting ``12/31/2015''. (b) Effective Date.--The amendments made by subsection (a) apply to goods entered, or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption, on or after the 15th day after the date of the enactment of this Act. <all>
